Last Days

Well we are back from our quick one week trip to California! It was bitter sweet to leave. B and I were both anxious and excited to come back and be with daddy, but sad at the same time to say good bye to the fam for a few more months! And because we have so many family members and friends in Cali, our trips never seem long enough and there is always so many things to squeeze in! However, we were able to see both great grandmas' and both Grandma's in California...and we were so happy to do so!

Brooklynn again was a champ traveling back...even during our two-hour layover in Vegas (she wanted to play with those slot machines...so colorful, bright, and loud!), and a delayed plane that got us into Houston at 1:30 am! Daddy was so happy to see us...waiting with open arms and a cart for all our luggage!

Brooklynn has this new look..a flirty look where she turns over her shoulder and flutters her eyelashes. It is the cutest thing...so funny, but I have yet to capture it on camera. Anyways, she was doing it to the guy next to us on the plane and he couldn't stop laughing! He thought she was the most adorable thing. It was fun!

So we are home safe and sound! Grateful to have been there with my family and for all their help and love of Brooklynn! There is no doubt Brooklynn is loved by so many...and that always makes a mother's heart smile!
