Just the Best!

Nothing new. Paul is off working hard everyday...which I am so grateful for because it allows me to stay at home with Brooklynn. Mother's Day and my birthday were great. It's always nice to have those special days where you feel extra appreciated and loved! Brooklynn and I spend our days playing, hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa's, catching up on all mommies shows, taking naps, and eating of course...still every three hours. And I have never been happier...it simply is the best! She is getting so big! Friday is her 4 month check up so I'll be sure to post how that goes. She can hold her head up really good now...loves to be on her feet...still adjusting to tummy time...still spitting-up like no other...smiles constantly...laughs more often... is growing back hair in her bald spots...and seriously has not worn the same outfit twice. The guys in Paul's office comment about her different hairbows everytime they see her...she is always dressed in a full outfit-head to toe! That's what is so fun about having a little girl and I am enjoying every minute of it! Can't believe how time flies- at least once you are no longer pregnant!

1. Love my baby girl and take her to her 4 month check up at the Dr.'s office
2. Work on my class

1. I'm with Jenna on this one- I would love to be like Oprah and give, give, GIVE
2. Buy a house and hire an interior decorator to do EVERYTHING!!

4. Set aside money for all my kids' weddings, missions, and educations
5. Pay off my parents' house and then hire people to take care of my parents' yard, pool, and the cleaning so they could both relax and spend time with the family and prepare to go on a mission. I'd also like to give money to my in-laws so they could retire and Glen could once again be at home with his family...to stay and watch the youngest three grow up!

Baby Brooklynn's First Swim

Brooklynn has been busy this week with some more firsts...meeting Great Grandpa Giddings and swimming in the pool! It was too windy the day we went in the pool and she didn't like that but enjoyed the water- just like a big bath tub! We had fun with Auntie Shayna and Grandma..and of course loved her blue bathing suit from Grandma! She also loves the new toy Gran gave her- especially for tummy time. It is so fun to be around family, I particularly love watching my brothers and sister with Brooklynn...they all just love her to pieces! Enjoy the pictures...I know that's why we all look on blogs anyways right?

The Many Faces of Brooklynn

These pictures cover the past couple of weeks... A weekend in Utah with Grandpa Ridley, meeting Gramps for the first time, a successful tummy time, spitting up on the mommy's face, hanging out with Uncle Skyler, showing off new outfits, and smiles!! The tummy time pictures are funny because she fell asleep instantly after giving up on the crying..it was kind of bizarre- I needed to check and make sure she was still breathing. And note to EVERYONE...her bows stay! I love them on her and the bigger the better I think..I know sometimes it falls into her face but beauty is pain and Brooklynn understands! She laughed the other day for the first time- it was so cute I had to call Paul and have him listen. She has found her fist but I hope she does not become a thumb sucker! Let's see...what else is new... Oh yeah...She consistantly sleeps through the night now- 9 hours and in her own room! It has been amazing! It's weird to put her to bed at night knowing she won't wake up until the sun's up. We also gave her hair a little trim before the blessing, hoping to help her old-man look out (thank you Uncle Joshie for pointing out her crazy hair). It does look a little better. Her eyes are still blue and her diapers are starting to smell...bummer! Overall we are happy and healthy as can be!

BYU Graduation

So following Brooklynn's blessing, we got to engage in the festivities of my BYU graduation in Home and Family Living. Thursday evening was the big ceremony with all the graduates in the Marriott center, where we were graced to hear from Elder Bednar. Then Friday morning was the School of Family Life Convocation in the Wilkinson Ballroom where I got to walk across the stage and hear my name read. It was fun...not as exciting as high school graduation where you are sitted with many friends, but nonetheless a big accomplishment that I am proud of..especially after I finish my last couple of Independent Study Classes..but at least I was able to participate in the ceremonies before leaving Utah..which we did a few hours after the ceremony. It was a whirlwind weekend, but so glad our families were there to witness it and celebrate with us.. Now on to bigger things...Real life!

Brooklynn's Blessing

I know it has been awhile since I have posted and I have so much to catch up on, but as most of you know we recently moved and I am just feeling settled and finally have time to post pictures of our recent events. This slideshow is of Brooklynn's blessing...Thank you so much to everyone who was there! It turned out to be an amazing day and everything we imagined it to be. The spirit was definitely felt and inspired Paul as he blessed our little girl. I plan to have some professional photos taken of her in her dress with her blanket so more to come soon, but for now enjoy and thanks again to all who attended!
