Halloween 2011

Of course holidays are becoming more and more exciting with each passing year as the girls are getting older, understanding more, and showing their excitement!

For Halloween this year Brooklynn wanted to be a princess- no surprise there- but I wouldn't let her be Belle because she literally dresses in her Belle dress EVERYDAY and I was tired of seeing her in it. I wanted to get and do something different for Halloween, so we decided on Cinderella. Cassie and I decided it would be so cute for Maylee and Zach to be Bam-Bam and pebbles. Since Cassie is super talented, I knew she could make the most adorable costumes for the two of them and of course she did! They were a hit wherever we went! They are 5 months apart but look like they could be twins.

We trick-or-treated in Josh and Cassie's neighborhood and Grandma and Grandpa came along- which we LOVED- and so did Crazy Grandma (No worries, she likes to be called that). Daddy and Uncle Joshie even got into the spirit and dressed up as well. Gave us a good laugh for sure but we have learned to expect that when Mother is around and the boys are together :)

This was Brooklynn ready for her Halloween party at school!
What a beautiful princess :)

The four of us at our ward Trunk-or-Treat/Carnival.
I couldn't believe how much went into that night... we all had so much fun!
Cousins..Maylee and Zach
Bam-Bam and Pebbles.
The girlies ready to hit the doors!
Look closely, Maylee and Violet are smiling the EXACT same way :)
Brooklynn CANNOT get enough of her cousin, Violet.
It's been so fun to FINALLY live close to them.
The girls with their daddy's and Crazy Grandma.
Can you believe I actually remembered to document that I was there with them too!?!
"Papa" and "Ga-Ga", as Maylee says, with their little pebbles.

It was a great weekend. Glad we got to spend it with so much family!

Pregnancy Re-Cap

18 weeks now! Almost to the half way point! Hooray! As I've been super sick this time around, again, I have often tried to remember more details of my previous pregnancies to help give me light at the end of the tunnel, but couldn't remember very well and didn't document enough to know for sure. So I am going to this time so when and if there is a baby #4 sometime in the future I'll know what more to expect...specifically. So...
3.5 weeks- Took a test that came back positive
5 weeks- Told Family and Friends the news (I can't hide it long because I get so sick)
5.5 weeks- started to feel nauseous
6-10 weeks- TOTAL MISERY! Need a TON of help because I am completely helpless
9 weeks- Finally got on a Zophran prescription (4 mg twice a day)
10-14 weeks- Still nauseous and throwing up but not as miserable
14 weeks- Started to feel a little normal again but if I didn't take or have Zophran it was like being 6 weeks pregnant all over again.
18 weeks- nausea is finally subsiding and I am getting some energy back. Still on Zophran once a day (4 mg)

16 weeks

I've made it to 16 weeks!! Even though I still have quite a ways to go, this is still an accomplishment for me! My current belly size is above. Sometimes I feel large and sometimes I feel small, but either way I can feel my belly growing! And already sitting is uncomfortable! Weird I know, but my body just DOES NOT adjust very well to any part of the pregnancy experience.

I was feeling decent about 2 weeks ago and finished up my Zofran prescription ( my dr. actually refused to refill my prescription- long story- so I had no choice) and then I took a turn for the worse again. I felt like I was 6 weeks pregnant all over. Luckily, my sister-in-law, Cassie, had some left over Zofran that helped me feel better again. But I just finished off those as well, so we shall see how things go (threw up this morning so that is not a good sign :( )

I'm feeling baby girl kick more and more. I still feel tired ALL the time- been going to bed between 7 and 8 for 3 months now and not waking up til 8-9 the next day!

Still adjusting to the idea of having 3 girls! It's kind of crazy when I think about it. Love it, but still crazy. Poor Paul really has NO idea what he is in for- now and when they are all teenagers!

My energy level is pretty low, but occasionally I'll get a burst of it and get quite a few things done. Still so grateful to be with family and have SO much help ALL the time. Seriously, nothing like it. So, so, so grateful!

Excited for all the upcoming holidays, and for days and weeks to start FLYING by.... April still feels too far away! Can't wait to hold baby girl and have my body back! :)
