We've been busy...

with V.I.P. guests.
Grandma and Auntie Shayna.
We ran 100 miles and hour and hardly slowed down.
We had them for a week and crammed as much as we possibly could into that week.

Grandma came with gifts, gifts and more gifts.
New outfits, movies, and toys!

Brooklynn decorated the guest bedroom door for our V.I.P. guests and they loved it!

First stop on the agenda- nearly 4 hours after they landed their red-eyed flight- Gatorland.
This was Paul's request. At first, I thought it was a joke of a place, but it actually turned out okay I guess- most likely because I was just so happy my mom and sister were here!

Checking out all those gators...

Her obsession with Auntie Shayna begins...

Love my sister. I prayed for her.  The Lord heard my prayers and she came! It's a great story if you haven't heard it before.

I love watching Paul interact with my family. He's such a goof ball and we all adore him :)
Paul makes everything better. Seriously, everyone ALWAYS has more fun when he is around.
It's one of the qualities I love most about him.

We literally waited an hour for Paul to feed the gators. Hope it was worth it honey- the wait time and the extra $10 it cost :)

My mom was loving every moment of being with her grand-babies.
And they in return were loving every moment with Grandma.

Train ride. Just Grandma and me.

This picture speaks a 1,000 words. B has a love-hate relationship with water.
She is squealing at the water that Grandma is splashing her with.

This was Shayna's silly pose idea. We went along with it :)

Shayna, you need 2 people to work a teeter-toter.

Best part of this picture: Paul holding Cinderella's hand! I don't know why he was doing that.
Maybe I should be worried?

Goofy Brooklynn.

We're quite a few years away from Shayna Paige being a bride- please :)
But the ears suit you I think.

Enjoying Downtonn Disney.,,, again!
B could never get sick of that place- she loves it!
But I am getting over the same pictures she HAS to take every time we go.

First day of vacation was AMAZING! The rest of the week went too fast!

This is where Shayna lived while she was here. And she was already so tan- but Prom is coming up and I remember those days when I felt like I could never be tan enough.
Oh the days when I could just lay out with no interruptions!

Enjoying our backyard pool.

Snuggle time with Auntie Shayna.... let the fun and memories begin :)

Brooklynn's Favorite Place to be...

without a doubt is Disneyworld.
She loves it all... the atmosphere, the rides, and of course the characters- most especially the princesses and Mickey and Minnie :)
Everyday she asks me, "Mom, what should we do today?"
I usually respond with, "Whatever you want to do Brooklynn."
Her response, every time will be,
"How about we go to Disneyworld!?"
Usually I have to let her down softly, in which case she is satisfied just to watch the video of her
"Celebrate a Dream Come True" Parade which she is completely head over heels for.

But... when Grandma and Auntie Shayna came in to town we got to go to her favorite place
AGAIN!!!

One of those favorite mommy moments.... kodak moment for sure :)

Blurry, but I love it. On the boat headed to the entrance.

The whole gang. Some nice people helped us out.

We couldn't pass up the biggest picture spot in the park!

Arial and Eric.
B was a little shy about Eric at first, but somehow she ended up capturing his heart and he gave her a flower to put in her hair when we left.
And I must say, this Arial was an absolute doll!

My silly, silly girl. Where does she get that?  We know it is not from me.
But Paul? He is so serious all the time :)-
But do you notice, we have a different shirt on! Minnie mouse this time... hooray!

The cutest moment ever.

Me beautiful little sis. One of the most amazing girls I know- gorgeous inside and out :)

Waiting for Brooklynn's favorite parade.

That face... oh that face! It's her daddy all over!
And is that tinkerbell outfit the cutest thing you've ever seen!? Thank you Grandma.
Maylee was a HUGE hit in line for every ride! People adored her...and her laugh and smile.
So contagious.

Can't get enough of Grandma or can't get enough of Maylee?

My favorite of the day. In line for "It's a Small World".

The carousel is one of my girls' favorite.

Love.

Dumbo!

Tried to catch the lighted castle in the background, but my camera is not that cool.

Watch out for Shayna and the stroller. A few minutes prior to this photo, she ran into my ankle, which quickly became bruised and swollen! Hurt so bad, but I love her anyway :)

End of a long day.
I was really wishing Paul was with us (he wasn't because he was on a business trip in California) so he could carry me- or at least one of our sleeping babies.
I really could have used my double stroller while going to all these amusement parks in Orlando- but we didn't have room to bring it here from Utah :(

Sleeping babies are my favorite. But she is not so little anymore :(

Adventures in Palm Beach

These two beautiful ladies:
have been friends since the 6th grade when they met in Laos. 18 years ago my mom was in Dee's wedding. And while my mom was here we got to spend a weekend together with Dee and her family in their gorgeous home in Palm Beach, FL.
It was amazing food, beautiful views and weather, and delightful company. Glad we got to be apart of my mom's little reunion.

On their fishing boat heading out to the ocean to catch dinner! Well, kind of :)

Shayna working hard on catching her first fish...

Success!!!!
Go Shayna Paige. Who said you were a girly girl!?

Get used to this face- you're going to se MUCH more of it :)

Hanging and fishing with Grandma.

Practicing reeling with grandma. She did amazing and loved every minute of it- I couldn't believe it.

She LOVED reeling it in, but didn't like her catch so close to her.

Grandma worked it like a pro.

Somebody was getting sleepy...

Remember that obsession with Auntie Shayna... Happy as a clam.

Someone's going to bite the dust...

Hesitation and nerves continue...but she is oh so curious at the same time. What a battle.

3... going on 16 apparently.

The unbelievable backyard of Dee's house. Right on the canal. What a life :)

A blessed weekend for sure.
