how can you tell who your true friends are?

ha. when you get it figured out.. let me know. all i know is that when you "truly" know they are "real" friends.. hang on to them, bc they are FEW and FAR between.

good question. i've been thinking about this a lot lately. to me a true/good friend is a person who moves with you through every phase of life. sometimes they are around a lot and sometimes around very little, but regardless you can always know they are there for you. the greatest friendships i have are with the people who i might not see for a while, but i know when i do, it will still feel the same.
p.s. when i had that particular issue this week and you told me, 'it's okay. if it were to happen you could do it. you are totally capable.' i had never thought about that. it's what you are so good at ashley, being positive and uplifting people. i admire it so much about you. love you.

A good friend is someone who is a good listener and is usually there for you. A TRUE friend is someone who tells you the absolute truth no matter what...and is ALWAYS there for you.

ME. :-) haha no but really I think a true friend is someone you know you don't have to call every day or week or even month...but when you do talk its like that time never passed by. You can feel that connection. ya know?! Knowing that if anything at least you have that one friend.
